It is almost May. We all know what it means: final exams. Teachers remind you about them with strange smiles on their faces and you start to panic wondering how time passes by so fast when you need it the most. Long entrance, bar and bathroom queues and Dance Radio can't spoil the party. Students stuck on a boat for 4,5 hours makes for good times eventually.

“Hello everyone!” The reminder about the Snow Boat Party sent out through Facebook started with these exact words. Considering how it turned out they really meant everyone. One might think a big crowd would mean a great party, but it didn't really work that way.

As the West is overwhelmed by debt, developing countries are playing a vital role in economic and global stability. The 21st century belongs to Asia, but will those countries abuse their new sense of power and prosperity?

As a native New Yorker, I’m no stranger to street food. I constantly joke that the ubiquity of street food in Prague is what made me decide to study here for the semester, and to be honest, I’m hardly joking.

My number one priority when I arrived in Prague was to find the best spot for fried cheese sandwiches. This traditional Prague staple consists of a thick slab of fried Edam cheese on a bun, sometimes topped with lettuce and either tartar sauce or mayo.

As with most parties, there are a few unsaid protocols that students and most locals tend to follow. One being, no one shows up early.

The new semester has started at Anglo-American University, bringing along with it a new batch of students and cold weather.  AAU's Student Council and NYU decided to warm up the semester with a well advertised welcome back party taking place in the nook of Charles Bridge, Lavka Bar and Club.

Confusion over a 10 percent tuition discount promised by Anglo-American University last year is finally being resolved.

Confusion over a 10 percent tuition discount promised by Anglo-American University last year is finally being resolved. In October 2009 the school made the offer to continuing students to help offset a significant tuition increase for new students, announcing that it was to be for the entire school year of 2010-2011. Returning students this fall, however were initially offered the deal only for that semester. Now they've been told that if they request it for spring semester, it will be granted for that period as well.
