Despite being an international university in Prague, the Anglo-American University currently does not provide any counseling service to its international students who are bound to face emotional difficulties that go with living in a new country, perhaps away from their parents and friends. But do students that face these issues actually want such a service?

Stanislav Lahoda is not a very well known name. But his works decorate interiors all over the world. He is a Czech painter and sells his pictures in the historical heart of Prague, on the Charles Bridge.
His story sounds like a fairy tale: Lahoda wanted to become a painter from the time he was a small boy. But during the communist era he was not allowed to study art and could never officially present or sell his works. Instead, he worked in a factory and painting remained just a hobby.
