Because AAU is so internationally diverse we should take the most advantage of this. We would like everyone to share their own culture with the rest of the AAU students in a fun and educational competition.

The party takes place in the highest publicly accessible indoor area in the entire Czech Republic.
The elevator will take you 100 meters high above the ground where you willl get a chance to party while having magnificent"360 degree"view over night Prague- such you have never seen before!

AAU Summer Snow Boat Party

The legendary boat party is back!

The AAU Student Council invites you to the first university party of this semester - AAU Welcome Boat Party- which will take place on this Friday 16th September from 19:30 on the boat Tyrš which will be sailing on the Vltava river. The ride is 4 and half hours long and Dance Radio will be in charge of the music. After the ride there will be an official afterparty with no entrance fee. The location will be announced.

D.E. Oprava is an American writer who has been in over one hundred journals online and in print. He has three full-length collections of poetry: VS. with Erbacce Press 2008, American Means with American Mettle Books 2009, and his third, sole, with Blackheath Books 2010.

He holds a BA in International Studies, an MS in Political Science, an MA in Creative Writing with Distinction, and is completing a PhD in Poetry at Swansea University in the UK.

From the AAU Student Council

 

As another semester creeps up on us, we as students are saddled with the never-ending burden of finding things to occupy our time - outside of pullin' all-nighters. With the multitude of options Prague has to offer, I would like to officially announce that the Anglo-American Student Council is alive and well - and will be offering the AAU Student Body the opportunity to participate in a whole host of leisure activities.

The deadlines are fast approaching for American citizens who want to vote absentee in the upcoming presidential election; but the registration process is easier than you might think.
You don't need to go to the embassy, even if you aren't previously registered to vote. In fact, you don't need anything but a computer and a printer. Several websites exist to provide detailed instructions, information, and all the forms needed.
