Parking in the "Jungle"

Anglo-American University, in the heart of the beautiful Mala Strana district, next to Charles Bridge and surrounded by historic sights, can nevertheless be a nightmare setting for some: drivers. Aside from choked traffic, parking in this area is highly problematic because of narrow lanes and inadequate space.

"I have had no difficulties adjusting", says Johnson. "I love the independence and freedom that I have here. Stanislav Lahoda is not a very well known name. But his works decorate interiors all over the world. He is a Czech painter and sells his pictures in the historical heart of Prague, on the Charles Bridge.
His story sounds like a fairy tale: Lahoda wanted to become a painter from the time he was a small boy. But during the communist era he was not allowed to study art and could never officially present or sell his works. Instead, he worked in a factory and painting remained just a hobby.
