where he is going to talk about Church and Spirituality in South  Africa and, based on his personal experience,“loosen usually set categories of  language and race“.

Christo Lombaardis an Old Testament scholar with a broad range of scholarly interests from biblical translaton and interpretation, Genesis, human rights from biblical and secular perspectives, Bible and the apartheid, communication and the Bible, etc.

In 2004 he completed Ph. D. in Religious Communication following his academic life-long interest in communications. Lombaard speaks Afrikaans, English, German, Dutch, French, Hebrew, Greek. Till present he is teaching at Christian Spirituality, University of South Africa.
