Dear students,
As AAU procures new textbooks for your courses, we would like to inform you of our textbook administration changes.
Upon Fall 2011 course registration, each student will be required to pay at textbook deposit of CZK 5,000. A textbook loan fee of CZK 200 will be charged per item per semester; the texbook loan fee will be deducted from the textbook deposit.
The remaining textbook deposit will be refunded at the end of the academic year, or at the end of your studies at AAU, if all textbooks are returned in good condition.
No charge or deduction from the textbook deposit will be made for courses which do not require a textbook.
If a student misplaces or fails to return a textbook, he or she will be charged the full price of the textbook, deducted from the textbook deposit.
These administrative changes will improve the quality of your textbooks, and keep them up-to-date with current developments in methods, trends, and thought. Additionally, these changes will allow for timely upgrade of textbooks every three to four years.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
