I am writing to ask for your help in completing a research study which examines attitudes toward dating and marriage among young adults living in the Czech Republic. Participation involves taking a 20 minute survey in English. You can participate if you are (1) between 18-29 years old, (2) unmarried, and (3) have been in at least one romantic relationship.

In the United States, attitudes towards marriage have shifted as the expectations of what constitutes a “happy marriage” have changed in recent decades. According to Pew Research Center, 39% of Americans believe marriage is becoming obsolete. This study is part of an investigation aimed at comparing perceptions of young adults living in the Czech Republic to those in the United States.
